Doublewide Kings to "Play Neil Young" at the Lobero Theatre

My My, Hey Hey—the Doublewide Kings have some big news today: On Saturday, November 17th at the Lobero Theatre, local groove-masters the Doublewide Kings will miraculously transform into a group of powder-fingered Mr. Souls to present a one-night-only concert performance of “The Doublewide Kings Play Neil Young.” That’s right, for one magical SB evening you’ll be able to witness that rare combination of talents that we like to call DWKY.

Did you catch Mr. Young’s phenomenal pop-up shows at the Lobero earlier this summer but find you crave some more live rust? Do you feel helpless for having missed ‘em? Well, either way, your pals the Kings will have you, and Mr. Young, splendidly covered with a night of great music that will range—in authentic Neil fashion—from the acoustic, bittersweet goodbyes of “Sugar Mountain” to the gritty, electric crunch of “Cinnamon Girl.” This will be a full, concert-length show so you’ll be sure to hear some favorites—and some surprises as well.

Please come out November 17th to support the Doublewide Kings, the Lobero, Santa Barbara, Good Ol’ Neil, and the ragged glory of live music. Buy your tickets today and together we can keep the free world rockin’.
